Laser Facial Rejuvenation

Dr. Paull uses the  VersaPulse® C Aesthetic Laser, a versatile, state-of-the-art laser for laser facial rejuvenation as well as other conditions such as unsighly veins and bloodvessels, birthmarks, pigmented lesions, age spots, scars and tattoos.  The Process Laser facial rejuvenation is a painless, no downtime procedure in which three different lasers are used. The first laser is used to first remove dilated veins or capillaries on the face which are mostly noticed around the nose, under the eyes and on the cheeks. The second laser is used to lighten or erase brown pigments such as age and liver spots, sun related damage and hormone induced dark areas of the skin. Finally, a third laser is used to stimulate collagen production, thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles.   This procedure is very tolerable and fast. Cold gel is then applied to the skin to keep it cool during treatment. All of this can be done in thirty minutes. Redness will resolve three hours later and you can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. Is any "after care" needed? Patients may apply makeup immediately after treatment, but need to be cautious with any product usage for 24 hours. There should be no tanning for 24 hours before or after treatment. After treatment, brown spots may get darker and flake off (this is a good thing!), but may take a day or two. Sometimes it may even take up to the 2nd or 3rd treatment.
